Sometimes I just want to laugh at blueberries because they're annular and then gossip about peer-reviewed studies. (As you might be guessing about now, there are many inside jokes and secret stories between me and this brilliant elf!)

This woman is as sweet as they come. Her shawl introduced me to my favorite fiber for dyeing practice (though I did not dye hers myself), a supple combination of cotton and bamboo rayon. It drapes beautifully and feels like a hug. The pattern is Susan Pandorf's Galadriel's Mirror, and it makes perfect sense that her shawl would be name for the mightiest and fairest of all the Elves of Middle Earth.

She's wonderfully open with her love and appreciation. I anchor into how she describes me when I find myself heading into a spiral of self-doubt.
