8/9/25

I went to Hill Country Weavers for the first time right at a quarter century ago. I saw you there a few times a year, and somehow you seemed to really know me. Soon before you died, you told me lovingly that I just couldn't leave well enough alone, and my goodness were you right! Yarning is a horse of a different color, and though it is no Hill Country Weavers, it has been shaped by you.

On August 31st, after 45 years, Hill Country Weavers will close its doors. The very next day, Yarning will open to the public.

If I find myself fretting that you did not know what you meant to me, I'll simply look around and thank you, and trust God to let you know.
