This woman is syrup, velvet, and candlelight. Her shawl called for a blend of silk and cashmere and a custom design. Hours and hours of knitting with size 1 needles and counting stitches...careful work, but also luxurious.
I don't carry this yarn, but if you have a hankering for cashmere, consider Yarn Matter's Cozy Sock--10% cashmere, 20% silk, 70% baby alpaca. Erin dyes her yarns with natural dyes, something I aspire to do, and uses animal fibers that are ethically sourced. I enjoy imagining that she and I share a particular kind of passion--one rooted in sensitivity.
Erin's yarn is featured by The Practice of Fibre (which produces the only e-newsletter I truly look forward to reading--find the Stay Connected option at the bottom of https://www.thepracticeoffibre.com if you're at all intrigued).
