This man is a spiritual trail blazer. My very being has seen itself more clearly by looking in his mirror.

He is adorned in the best piece I've ever made from a technical perspective: Anne-Lise Maigaard's Rose of the North in Dye Diana Dye's Silkensea fingering in the Arsenic and Old Blue colorway. Diana has closed her shop, but she is still very much a part of Yarning Fiber Arts. I aspire to offer the heartful service to my customers that she gave me. She'd help me pick from her amazing yarns and even tried out different sized beads on one of her bases so I could order the beads before her yarn was delivered (I have such trouble waiting for materials when inspiration strikes!). In addition to all the support via email, she also sent a paper crane with each order.

Silkensea is a mix of 70% silk and 30% seacell, a fiber made from seaweed. It is my favorite fiber, and I carry it undyed for truly special projects--let me know if it calls you.

I also carry:

Pascuali's Arctic Pearl

  • Light fingering

  • 81% eucalyptus fiber

  • 19% seaweed fiber

Lang's Oceania

  • Light DK

  • 70% cotton
